Seniors Day Program
Held at Saddle Mountain Lounge (1751 Glencaird St).
We invite you to join us on :
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
9AM- 1:30PM, lunch service at 12:00 noon.

Seniors are invited to pop in and check out the activities and programs we offer, meet and visit with other seniors and enjoy delicious lunch!
Programs & activities include games, entertainment, wellness sessions, intergenerational programs, socialization, field trips, crafts, exercises, knitting, seasonal celebrations and special events. This program also offers respite for caregivers of seniors. Watch for monthly calendar of activities and menu.

The Drop-in runs on Monday, Wednesday & Fridays from 9:00am – 1:30pm at the Dogwood Lounge at Saddle Mountain Place 1751 Glencaird St. Lumby BC
The Seniors Drop-in is a place to go to mix and mingle with other seniors, have fun doing activities and enjoy a delicious hot meal. Some activities include agility, knitting, bingo, crafts, cribbage and wellness presentations. Our intergenerational programs brings seniors, children and youth together. Healthy Living-Aging Well Program is discussions on health & healthy eating. Our information sessions invite you to come listen to guest speakers share information and discuss topics like scams, fraud, power of attorney, wills, health & wellness, diet, exercise and more.

The Volunteer Coordinator assists individuals who are wanting to give back to the community and volunteer at various seniors’ programs.
Volunteer positions include:
• Assist with meal preparation
• Serving meals
• Assist with activities
• Set and clean tables
• Dish washing

The Seniors Service Coordinator connects seniors, their families and caregivers with community service providers and resources.
One – to – one support is also available to seniors of the community who require assistance maintaining an independent lifestyle.
